Iro and Giannis are not just the owners of the farm. They are people whose roots are buried deep in the soil of Apokoronas. Raised in families of shepherds, they learned from childhood to listen to the needs of the animals, to respect nature, and to appreciate the value of authentic Cretan culture.

Become a "Farmer for a Day"
The activities we have prepared for you allow you to actively participate in the daily life of the farm. Within a few hours, you will feel the connection to the earth that we so often lose in the routine of city life:
Animal Care and Feeding: Get up close with our sheep, goats, geese, rabbits, and our friendly little pig. Children will be thrilled to feed the animals and search for fresh eggs from our hens—who often hide them in the most unlikely places!
The Milking Experience: You will have the chance to see firsthand and participate in the milking process, an art passed down from generation to generation.
Gardening Work: Depending on the season, you will get your hands in our fertile soil, planting or harvesting vegetables directly from our organic garden. Tomatoes, cucumbers, and herbs are waiting for you to collect them.
From Farm to Plate: The Cooking Experience
Your day at the farm will culminate around a large, traditional table. In our cooking experience, you will use the ingredients you gathered yourself from the garden and the nests. Together with Iro and Giannis, you will prepare authentic recipes: from steaming kalitsounia (cheese pies) and dakos with fresh myzithra cheese, to traditional pasta made with the day's fresh milk.

Sitting under the shade of the trees, with a view of the White Mountains (Lefka Ori), you will taste Crete in its purest form.
