What animals will I encounter at AREVITIS Farm?

At our farm, you will meet a variety of Cretan farm animals, such as sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, geese, turkeys, ducks, peacocks, and rabbits. Each animal is part of our family and plays a significant role in the daily operations of the farm. Additionally, you will meet our dog, Floros, who is always eager for cuddles and playtime.

How long does the organized tour of the farm last, and who conducts the tour?

The organized tour of the farm lasts approximately 3 hours, giving you ample time to explore, participate in activities, and fully enjoy the Cretan farm experience. Yiannis and Iro will be your guides, leading you through the activities and sharing with you the stories behind every corner of the farm.

Are there seasonal activities on the farm?

Yes, we offer seasonal activities such as sheep shearing in the spring and early fall. All our activities on the farm follow the seasonal cycle of rural life. We plant specific vegetables according to the season and, of course, harvest whatever nature has ripened.

Can children and individuals with mobility issues participate in the activities?

AREVITIS Farm is an ideal destination for families. We offer activities that are suitable for children, encouraging them to learn about nature and rural life through hands-on experience. Currently, the farm tour is not easily accessible for individuals with special needs. We are working to improve accessibility and make the experience enjoyable for everyone.

Do I need to book an appointment before visiting the farm, and how do I get there?

Since the tour is conducted in groups with a specific number of participants, to ensure everyone can actively participate, we recommend booking in advance to guarantee the best possible experience. The farm is located in the Arevitis area, in Vafe Apokoronou. For directions, please consult the map.
